By accessing or using the ALAT Labs platform, website, APIs, or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
ALAT Labs provides AI-powered automation tools designed for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Africa. Our platform includes:
To access the Service, you must create an account. Authentication is via a 4-digit PIN system. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN and account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. ALAT Labs is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access to your account.
The Service offers multiple subscription tiers:
Prices are in Kenya Shillings (KES). All payments are processed via Mobile Money or other approved payment methods. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
You retain full ownership of all data you input into the Service, including business data, customer records, and operational information. ALAT Labs does not claim ownership over your data. We process your data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The AI features of the Service provide suggestions, recommendations, and automated responses based on algorithms and machine learning models. These outputs are not guarantees and should not be considered professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before acting on it. ALAT Labs is not liable for decisions made based on AI outputs.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. ALAT Labs is not responsible for the availability or policies of third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALAT Labs Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate the account at any time. Upon termination:
You may request export of your data before termination by contacting us.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
